Are you a family caregiver looking to enhance your caregiving skills for your loved one living with dementia? The Caregivers Training Grant (CTG) offers an annual subsidy of $200, allowing you to attend approved courses tailored to improve your caregiving skills and knowledge.
Eligible beneficiaries of the CTG will start off with a $400 grant. Each year, there will be a top up to care recipients’ CTG by $200, and unused monies can be carried forward, with the CTG monies for each care recipients capped at $400.
Given that caregiving often involves multiple caregivers, including family members and migrant domestic workers (MDWs), you may also want to consider encouraging them to sign up for these courses.
The list of courses available under the CTG can be found on the Agency for Integrated Care (AIC) Caregiver Training Courses E-Calendar. Courses can be conducted either in your home or in a classroom at a training centre. Find out how you can apply for the grant here.
